About Juliane

Let yourself be enchanted by this fairytale forest. The Langhorster Kuhlengraben (Beeke) accompanies you almost all the time on the 3 km long circular route in Steyerberg. At the beginning of the tour you will find the Frog King, Hansel and Gretel and of course the 7 dwarfs. After a few meters, the Klappermühle is noticeable and you keep walking over small bridges, along an enchanted forest path, until you arrive at the pavilion in the Pfarrbusch (built in 1934).Here, too, as in the fairy tale, there is "good and bad" and so the killer stone in the forest tells its very own story: Back then, Heinrich Bornkamp from Steyerberg killed his wife, with whom he was in the parish bush, with an ax and buried there.
The murderer was sentenced to death and buried under the stone.
For me one of the most beautiful places in the district ... and the forest paths are also ideal to ride on a mountain bike ... is on my own next list 😉

After an inspiration from Astrid and Andreas komoot.de/tour/217891129 we ended up in Walsrode today. The Obstradlertour starts in Fuldepark and is really well signposted. It goes past streams and "logo" orchards, the huge home24 / Goodman area and the Weltvogelpark. There is a small airfield in the immediate vicinity of the bird park ... and it clicked, we could see a glider taking off. Only at the end we lost the apple 🍎 and drove the last few kilometers without a "guide". The call for grilled meat and asparagus was just too loud ... so we went back to Walsrode directly.

Today we were in full cast; ) and wanted to do a little tour after a hearty breakfast, where everything is included. A little mountainous, a pinch of a stream and a playground in the end. In the Dillertal in Bruchhausen-Vilsen everything is there for the senses and the pleasure and the Forsthaus Heiligenberg is ... without words! The garden, the newly built hotel, all the fine, small details. Just lovely.

Infinite expanses of Hermann Löns; this title just fits this tour. Again and again you have a great view over the meadows and fields. We started at the Bickbeerenhof, here the hiking trail with a length of approx. 10 km is signposted at a traffic sign.Everything is included on this hike! If you are more interested in the tour: mittelweser-tourismus.de/tour/loens-wanderweg you will find all the important information here.We did not visit the manor today, it is certainly known to all orcs, Celts and other fantastic figures. Before the corona pandemic, more than 8,000 participants took part in live role-playing games in the world of Mythodea. And that's how I want to keep it in my memory until we can visit it again 😎We were lucky and the rain spared us .. only a delicious waffle with bickberries and cream was missing afterwards 😋 but hopefully that will be possible again soon.

The three uhhh two question marks Justus alias Jule and Bob here called Matze go on a discovery tour again. One of my last MTB adventures just made me too curious about the historical content of the forest ... so off to Barme am Walde and today on foot.Cross country through small paths to the highest point in Dörverden via a level crossing to filter station 113. If you want more information: tulifurdon.de/eibia/ZustandNachSprengung.shtml ... you can find background here. Nearby there are also the ruins of an old Eibia power plant, still consisting of a large wall and a tunnel. If you leave the forest, you come straight to the wolf center and an alpaca ranch. Fancy a little adventure ...?!Now all that's missing is Aunt Mathilda's cherry cake 😃🎂

Small but nice hike in Eystrup. First by grinding to the Alhuser Ahe (last possibility, the lark's spur slowly fades). Then it goes through the march ... the rapeseed begins to show itself in its splendor and also the fleecy clouds look really awesome today. Past the outdoor pool to the Eystruper church and the old manor. On the way back we were able to see a railroad landscape in the garden ... a lot already finished, some still under construction and already worth seeing.

Penultimate day of vacation ... so use the time again. My constant companion today: a wool sweater and the wind 🌪 well and ... with nature in nature.First stop: the Wassarium, very informative and calming place. But today ... increase your heart rate a little and continue on past Nienburger Hafen, through the city center and over the Weser Bridge.Next stop: the Rolle, beautiful lake ... and a great bike path. This leads me to my actual main goal: the Binner Gorge. Here I have to get off the bike and push, just because I want to let it affect me.The way back is via Marklohe (my old home), here I drove a few bends and loops, for nostalgic reasons 😉. We continue through the calm forest and then to the Straße der Lieder to Mehlbergen, past Ahbur`s Schüne and the port of Marina (there is an opportunity to strengthen yourself at both locations). Finally, I drive home over the Weser Bridge and Wesermarsch. Broken, but intoxicated ... now there are homemade burgers 🍔😁

My goal: the castle 🏰 in Ahlden and here not only along the bike paths, it can also be cross-country.Does anyone still know the Aue-Ring ... from the 50's up to the 90's rallycross races were held here. You don't see much anymore. It went past the Alte Aller and the Scheunenviertel in Ahlden to the castle. Here is the hiking stone 63 by Honky Cat 😉 (replace this stone with a stone you have painted or add another one. If you exchange it, post the new location in your hike or bike tour).Back I drove a bit along the old railway path and then through the Lichtenmoor nature reserve. After that, I first had to straighten bones. Please only take this tour by MTB 😜

What a micro adventure. This morning everything was there. From the trail, lost in place to the sea of flowers. This tour is best with the MTB and clothes that like dirt 😅Honky Cat, your stone will get a new place the next time I use it ... a great idea from you 👏
