We rode a small part of the "Ciclovia dell'Oglio".
At Ponte Veccio there was a sign for a 10 km hiking-cycling trail. We then extended the tour with this stage.
On the signs, the cycling route was described as easy for bikers... well... for me there were some pushing sections 🫣, I'm just not a mountain

I dared it again... 400 meters of altitude in one go, always steeply uphill.
It went much better than in Laveno, there were equally steep ascents, the paths similar, but not as warm. That helped me.
It's a section of the 'Antica Strada Valeriana', a long-distance hiking trail - strenuous but truly beautiful

Ein Regentag ☔️ aber mit Pausen. Da könnte man doch mal wieder rauf auf den Berg wandern 👍🏼
Leider hat die Sicht unter den tief hängenden Wolken arg gelitten 🌧🌫
Aber der Stimmung, über alte Steintreppen hoch hinaus, hat das Wetter nicht geschadet.
Ich hätte mich stundenlang dort oben aufhalten…

🇮🇹 Lago di Garlate, di Olginate und Lecco 🇮🇹 ab CP 🚴🏻♀️🚴♂️🌥🦢🐤🐤🐤🦢🌳🌿🌊
Hier am Lago di Garlata gibt es rundherum einen Fahrradweg, fern ab vom Autoverkehr. Den haben wir heute getestet. Er ist flach, geht durch Parkanlagen, fast immer direkt am See.
Das habe ich am Lago Maggiore, zumindest auf der Ostseite etwas vermisst.

We saved Lecco for last. That was a good idea. I lock my bike, and then I realize I had forgotten the key.
My dear husband was kind enough to drive the 4km back to the campsite to get it. In the meantime, I could stroll through Lecco a bit. As a reward, I had an ice cream 🍦🍦 on the promenade 🫶

It was super strenuous, but super beautiful 🥰 we visited our friends who have their little house somewhere up there. The path only went uphill. Originally, the plan was to reach a certain summit... then to the cable car station... at the restaurant, I refused to go any further... not a meter further

A beautiful walk through nature.
We started at CP Lindlbauer and extended the loop accordingly. On the way back, we visited the small spa park with a water treading basin and herb garden.
