      In search of sunshine 🌞, I drove to the Rennsteig trail and hiked to our two highest mountains in the Thuringian Forest. It was almost windless and about 10 degrees Celsius.       Finally, sunshine 🌞 in October! From the hiking paradise of Knüllfeld, you can quickly reach Ruppberg. On Ruppberg, I enjoyed the sunshine, the magnificent view, and a bratwurst.
