About Koga-Willi 🚲👣🇺🇦

Inspired by the beautiful pictures from @Strandgut, we also drove to the poppy fields today. I have to say, the sight of the huge fields of poppies was worth it. At times there were quite strong gusts of wind on the route, but we were able to strengthen ourselves again with coffee and cake at Hofcafe

    1. This discovery tour was actually nice again. Culinary, as well as from the landscape. There were also some steep climbs to be overcome on the Dutch border. We didn't like the long connection along the road from Kleve to Asperden. But we had the "Pope in our pockets" or rather, strong tailwind on the

    1. For us, today was once again a fantastically beautiful and varied tour. 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ Almost everything was there and especially a lot of the wonderful water-rich landscape with unique nature reserves. Starting at the Evangelical Church in Keeken and then in Millingen aan de Rijn with two ferries, we went

    1. The Kamp Monastery has existed for 900 years and this is celebrated.

Accompanying the "Middle Ages Experience" there will be a wine festival 🍷 with live music in the terraced garden for the first time.

As lovers of good wine, we couldn't miss the wine festival in the terraced garden. So we got on our

    1. This wonderful and varied tour went through the bicycle paradise of the Netherlands again today. 🇳🇱 The super wide bike paths and the priority system for bikes in the country, plus the beautiful landscape, you can only dream of that at home.

After the start in Plasmolen, we started with a steep incline

    1. Today was not an ideal day for cycling. There were far too many unsafe cyclists with alcohol levels 😵 on the Rhine. Caravans 🍺🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️ came toward us with a loud roar. One group carried a jukebox 🙉, from which the deafening "Breathless through the night" sounded. So for us it

    1. It was actually a nice tour, but a bit too much nature for us 😕

The route led us mostly through wooded areas and under dense oak trees. Not entirely without risk, because the “oak processionary moths” are already very active at the moment. Little fat green caterpillars roped down from the trees at our

    1. This tour went once left and right along the Rhine. Starting in Kalkar, then through the idyllic village of Haselaer and over the dike in the direction of Emmerich. After a short coffee break at our favorite cafe `8888` we went over the Golden Gate Bridge from Emmerich to the beautiful village of Grieth

    1. Today we are taking you to the Romans in the Xanten Archaeological Park. 🏛️ You have free entry, although this unique experience is offered very cheaply. We had e.g. B. with a free ticket, which can be found in some booklets, with 2 people for 6 € a really great afternoon on the huge site including

    1. Today we felt like the good Walbecker asparagus. So the bikes were strapped on and off we went in the direction of Walbeck. From our standard parking space at the mobile home site we drove in the direction of Twisteden and then across the Dutch border to Bergen. To be more precise, in the beautiful Berger
