A relaxed tour across the fields of Kalkar via the new dike path to the beautiful town of Grieth am Rhein and then to the Spoy Canal in Kleve. Back we went past the trolley station and over the Voltaireweg towards Moyland Castle. Then via the district of Till to Kalkar.

A wonderful tour from the starting point Bislich on the Rhine to Wasserburg Anholt in the Münsterland (which is actually a castle) and via Isselburg and Loikum back to Bislich. A ferry trip with the "Keer Tröch II" ferry was actually planned, but it does not run on Tuesday. This tour led exclusively on paved paths and is therefore also suitable for racing cyclists. The very well-preserved and impressive moated castle is well worth a visit. Unfortunately, the parks cannot be visited at the moment because of the redesign. The route through the rural areas near Wertherbruch and Loikum also has its charm. Overall, I can recommend this tour for descendants.

I really cannot recommend this wonderful tour to Raesfeld Castle for descendants due to poor planning. There were sections through overgrown and sandy paths where the bike had to be pushed. But if you love adventure, you could be happy with this tour. In addition, on the way back we passed the fountains with a very strong headwind. But the delicious cake at the Hofcafe` Hagemann made up for it all. By the way, the trip to the castle was definitely worth it.

Today a little round on train tracks and on the "tracks of Napoleon" over Fietsallee along the north channel. A wonderful round on well-navigable byways with lots of nature. We started from the (free) parking lot at Leuther Mühle and further past De Wittsee towards Lobberich.
(Unfortunately, Bocholt Castle was not open to visitors) 😞

This tour today was very nice, but also very dusty. More of an MTB tour, actually. Over 90% of the route was on unpaved roads. First we drove along the dyke section along the Rhine, which was partly reworked with coarse gravel. These sections were very difficult to drive. Then partly along very narrow and beautiful forest paths along the Rotbach. We went back to Walsum via the dusty HOAG route. At the start I started with a black bike and came back with a gray one

The start was Mulhouse near Grefrath today. From there it went over the avenue bike path of the old railway line Kempen - Kaldenkirchen to the Krickenbecker lakes. Then over the Nette past the Nettebruch through a beautiful landscape towards Süchteln and further along the old Schluff-Bahntrasse to Vorst. From there over huge orchards back to Mulhouse. This tour is not for kilometer eaters, but highly recommended for connoisseurs.

Today we went on a discovery tour again without a destination via side roads through the landscape. Small works of art could be admired at the old mill in the Dong. There crocheted flax flowers made of wool grew out of the ground. For amateur photographers there are great motifs at the mill and at the old Niederberg colliery. In addition, there were many new things to discover that would otherwise not have been seen driving past.
