The Diana Temple in Munich's Hofgarten is characterized by its dodecagonal design. The pavilion was built in 1614. It stands at the intersection of the main and diagonal axes of the garden. Concerts are held in and around the Temple of Diana and in the summer months it is a popular meeting place for dancers.

The Hofgarten is a historic park located between the Residenz and the English Garden. It was designed in the style of a Renaissance garden at the beginning of the 17th century. At its center is the Temple of Diana, a pavilion-like circular structure with eight arches and a bronze goddess statue on the roof. It serves as a popular meeting place and venue for music, dance, and street art. Combining courtly elegance with urban recreation, the Hofgarten is today a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city and a significant example of historic garden design in Munich.
