Nice bridge and nice view of the Friedensengel but you should also know that the cycling infrastructure is lousy there.
    - a lot of cars, correspondingly loud
    - no bike path, you have to use the sidewalk
There is no significantly better alternative via the Isar, which is also good to know.
An insider tip would be the permitted passage through the inner courtyard of the Deutsches Museum.

The four large, compact stone figures that "sit" half-lying between amphorae in the middle of the four wing walls stand out as a bridge decoration. They symbolize the former four Bavarian tribes Bavaria, Swabia, Franconia and the Palatinate. The ravages of time are already gnawing at the figures - the inscriptions are difficult to read.

The Luitpold Bridge is a pretty stone arch bridge over the Isar, which was named after the Bavarian Prince Regent in 1901. The Friedensengel adjoins its east bank and Prinzregentenstrasse on the west bank.
