St. Gertraud Church Frankfurt (Oder)
The first church to be built on this site was the former church of the garment tailors' guild, which was demolished in the middle of the 19th century because of dilapidation. A neo-Gothic brick building, which was inaugurated in 1878, followed in its place. The new building of the Gertraudenkirche has a Sauer organ built in 1879 on the west gallery with three manuals and 36 registers as well as two bells. War damage was repaired after 1945.

The St. Gertraud Church is a Protestant church in the city of Frankfurt (Oder). She is under the patronage of Saint Gertrude of Nivelles. The most important inventory in terms of art history includes the 4.70 m high, gilded, seven-flame bronze candlestick (end of the 14th century) and the bronze baptismal font and hood from the same period. Both are known as Bibles for the poor, to whom biblical history is presented in discrete scene depictions, and are of outstanding quality. A special treasure is the carved and gilded multi-winged Marian altar (end of the 15th century), a convertible altar containing the Madonna on the crescent moon in the central shrine, flanked by Saint Adalbert of Prague and Saint Hedwig of Silesia.
