We took advantage of the nice weather for a tour around Guben.
It should be solid paths and lots of sun.
The tip from the Lausitzer Wandermann helped us.
We started at the Hotel Waldow in Gr.Breesen and followed the cycle path to Grano or the Mühlenfließ to the junction to Wilschwitz and on to Wilschwitz / Reichenbach to Guben Park am Kletterfelsen. We walked through the city park into the old town to the Poetensteig (Egelneisse), further following the Oder Neisse cycle path to the level crossing at Kupferhammerstrasse. (Guben / Gr.Breesen). The rest of the way then left along the embankment to Gr.Breesen.

A winter hike in frosty temperatures (felt like minus 8 ° C) and sometimes violent headwinds
via Lawitz, Neuzelle and Oder to Fürstenberg a.d.Oder.
It is always amazing what there is to discover.
The facade design with the bay window in WW3 can also be seen in Dessau.
The renovation will continue not only in the new city center, but also in Fürstenberg and at the train station.

A round trip in the Lubusz region.
From the Lebuser suburb in Frankfurt O. (at the Winterhafen) it went to Kliestow and on via the witches' settlement to the B 112 (bus stop Kunersdorf desert) and then to the Oder via the Steiner holes.
When you arrive at the Oder, follow the hiking trail towards Frankfurt.
Unfortunately, the path between the St.Löcher was not passable. Had to look for an alternative route across the meadows. With a little luck, the meadows were frozen, we found a transition at the trenches. So we were back on the old way relatively quickly.
From the Oder dam we turned onto the "Biberweg" and passed the Frankfurt water and sewage works to the winter harbor.

Today we were in the Guben countryside.
Encouraged by the Lausitz hiker, we hiked to Schenkendöben and Deulowitzer See.
At this point, many thanks for the template.
      It started in Obersprucke
and walked via Deulowitz to Schenkendöbener See, continue with the hiking trail "yellow marking"
to the Deulowitzer See. There was a confusing spot, at the level of the storage area for 2 straw bales. There was no more way, i.e. across country, until you get back on the planned route. But be careful, this is mining site and actually closed!
Then you get to the D.See relatively quickly with the old Seehotel, now unfortunately only fallow buildings?
We still know the lake as campers.
But that was over 30 years ago.
Over the Kaltenborn mountains we get to Kaltenborn and on to Altsprucke with a view of the former synthetic fiber factory.
A great hike, during which we also discovered a lot of new things.

A winter hike past the goldfish ponds and over five oaks to the Puck pit (former coal mine, now a fishing and bathing lake).
On the way back it goes on the mine train path past the forester's house Schierenberg and the horseshoe ponds to Schönfliess (OT from Eisenhüttenstadt).
On the way we unfortunately had to accept a lot of snow break in the forest. The last snowfall also resulted in a lot of rain and that was too heavy for many trees.
As a result, the hiking tour was peppered with many obstacles.
We were back in town just in time for dusk.
Unfortunately, the photos have turned a bit dark and gray. Unfortunately, the daylight and the camera are no longer available.

At the end of the year, a hike in the Dorchetal.
We start in Neuzelle am Klosterteich and hike via the Klosterblick settlement towards Vorwerk Bomsdorf and on to Lake Gallensee. On the left bank, continue to the Dorchetal with Kahntopp, along the Dorche to the Schwerzkoer pond, at the Schw.Mühle u. Pass Mittelmühle, turn right at Neumühle towards Kummro as far as Neuzelle.
This hike is recommended in every season.
You have to do without gastronomy at the moment.
Otherwise, the Schwerzkoer Mühle or in Neuzelle Prinz Albrecht or the Klosterklause would be recommended.

You have to face the weather.
Today a short excursion around the Wirchensee with Wirchenwiesen and the headwaters.
Unfortunately no cranes seen today. They can often be seen in the headwaters.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, the weather wasn't great and I just wanted to hike like that.

In the gray weather it was pleasant to be out and about in nature.
Once again hiked the Eisvogelpfad starting from the Pohlitzer Mühle.
We made a little additional round around the former forester's house Schierenberg.
      Always going well.

A bike ride with some sun and sometimes a lot of wind around Peitz via Jänschwalde Kolonie and Teichland to the Baltic Sea and via the Spreeradweg (Fehrow, Drachhausen, Drehnow) back to Peitz.
The last stretch between Fehrow and Drachhausen is a bit stressful, along the road and too many day trippers on Sunday.
The signs to the Bärenbrücker Höhe lookout point are a bit difficult. Difficult to reach by bike, coming from Teichland. In any case, we didn't find it.
And the observation tower at Teichland is closed, Corona. Do we have to catch up later. So not a big prospect this time.
      Still a nice autumn round.

      Soak up the sun again.
And not yet affected by the ASP, so walk along the Oder dam.
A number of cyclists and walkers took advantage of this.
The flood has receded, but some meadows are still under water.
The dam is also being renewed in some places, but today it will be quiet.
Instead, you could listen to the birds like in spring.
