The Anger is a park in the Guben suburb and was created on the former parade ground. In the park there is a Soviet memorial with a war cemetery. On the north side is the Kießlingbau. At the south end is the pavilion, near which is the stadium of friendship.

From the Anger you can see in a few minutes the beautifully restored and partly newly built Fischer road. Walk along the Leopold Ufer and from there look at the Ziegenwerder. The newly designed waterfront promenade to the marina is worth a walk
