Beautifully landscaped playground 👍

There's a free parking space here on the village road, and you'd think you were entering a private farm. But the signage is clear: Under these two oak trees, commemorating the peace treaty of 1871, is a small, fully shaded parking lot with numerous information boards. Overall, it's a very pleasant place.

Insane asylum - that's the somewhat self-ironical name given to a residential building on the NOK, in whose garden dinosaurs have escaped.

Beautifully painted on three sides: the electricity box: coat of arms of Schülp, volunteer fire department, Schülp and shipping traffic on the NOK.

There's a lighthouse in the garden on Dorfstrasse. I don't know what the watermark's model is.

Small weir with two vehicles. Almost opposite is a matching painted distribution box.

The signal station is now empty. Several benches offer a sunny place to rest because the switch to the canal is slightly elevated.

The jetty at the Kiel Canal's canal crossing is no longer in operation; as of 2025.
