One of the few gabled houses in the city of Erfurt can be found in Marktstraße 50. The house "Zum güldenen Rade" was built in 1767 with much older components. In the courtyard are the remains of a tobacco mill from the 18th century.

A detour is always worthwhile if one deals with the former construction. The cathedral Erfurt is also nearby.

The front building dates from the 15th century and was rebuilt in 1767 in Baroque style. In the interior, early modern spatial designs are preserved (Wikipedia).
