The real highlight of the Kattenburger Hangweg, a beautiful narrow path at altitude with great views. In 1951, the Central Pioneer Holiday Camp Thomas Müntzer was established here with up to 1200 places, partly used by the Society for Sport and Technology.
After 1990, it became known that the GDR authorities had planned to imprison opposition members in the holiday camp in case of "tension".

From Hopfgarten on a sunny Easter Monday to the Nohra Landscape Park.
