The Thomaskirche is a Protestant-uniate church in neo-Gothic style and is located in a park on the Schillerstraße in Erfurt, in the suburb Löbervorstadt. The church was built at the beginning of the 20th century as a replacement for the now too small Old Thomaskirche and has the second highest church tower of the city with 72 meters height. It serves as a parish church of the Thomas church and houses a Gothic altarpiece from 1445, which belongs to the four valuable Erfurt carving altars (Wikipedia).
