The Bernhardus Chapel is somewhat hidden in the forest below the Old Castle in Baden-Baden. The chapel was built in 1961 in honor of the late Margrave Bernhard von Baden. He was born in Hohenbaden Castle in 1428 – also known as the ruins of Hohenbaden / Old Castle. The beatification took place in 1769.
