The patrons' facility in Baden-Baden is a park directly on the Oos in the middle of the Lichtentaler Allee. It was founded by the German-American coffee king Hermann Sielcken, named after the Baden-Baden mayor Albert patron, designed by Professor Max Laeuger and created between 1909 and 1912. Since 1952, roses have been cultivated and maintained in the strictly symmetrical hedgerow garden. Meanwhile, about 360 rose varieties can be counted. Entering the patronage complex over the Josephine Bridge, beyond a lawn flanked by rose bushes you can see the Josephine Fountain with a large basin, where goldfish and pond roses can be found. The fountain was designed by the Munich sculptor Josef Flossmann (1862-1914) in Art Nouveau style. The left figure personifies the bathing cure, the right figure personifies the drinking cure. The bridge and fountain are named after Mrs. Sielcken, the spouse's wife. Benches and table groups invite you to linger and enjoy the rose splendor. You can reach the patrons via the Lichtentaler Allee or the Ludwig-Wilhelm-Straße.
