Our stage started this morning in Dinkelsbühl and led through the impressive Geopark Nördlinger Ries (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nördlinger_Ries). In Nördlingen we had breakfast and the first rain of the tour. However, this was short-lived, so we could continue the path dry. We followed the Dönitz for some

Today we left Hesse and arrived in BaWü. We left the Maintal behind us and followed the Tauber from Wertheim. Today's stage destination was Bad Mergentheim. Felt like the toughest day of the whole tour today. At 36° C and no shade on the Frankenhöhe for 2 hours.

We left the Fuldatal and arrived through the beautiful Sinntal on the Main, crossing the 1,000 km mark. Resting today in Lohr am Main. We also met Snow White in front of her castle. Fulda is also beautiful. I can gladly recommend it.

Timber framing galore. Today we started in beautiful Melsungen, had breakfast in Rotenburg an der Fulda, made a detour to Hersfeld and enjoyed a coffee in Fulda upon arrival. We will take our half-time break here and spend two nights.

Today the tour led us through Lower Saxony, a region characterized by agriculture. Large farms, each a gem in itself, lined the way. Along countless small rivers and canals. The wind was just as strong today as on the first two days. However, it came more from the side than from the front. A detour in

Today, a friend and I started the bike tour from Germany's northernmost point at Ellenbogen on Sylt to Germany's southernmost point near Oberstdorf. The first stage required all our reserves of strength. We had a headwind of 30 - 35 km/h for the entire route.

Today we continued along the Danube. From Ulm, we followed the Iller to Memmingen. On Ulm's Münsterplatz, we had a pretzel and a coffee. This was the first and last break. We pedaled as hard as we could. Since heavy rain was forecast from 10:00 AM, we started at 7:00 AM and were rewarded. We only had
