We parked in the center of Präg and walked west through the small town and followed the Schweinbächle on wide fine split paths to its source. The first 400 hm is done here on 4 km and moves between mountain meadows and can always let your gaze wander back into the Präger glacier basin. Over the Präger Eck we continue uphill, first on wide paths, then further on a path to soon switch to wide paths again on the way to today's summit. On the last 500 meters we are allowed to approach the highest point of the Blößling on natural ground. A beautiful, somewhat dreamy place with a small refuge and a couple of loungers invites you to linger. From the 1310 m high mountain you have a beautiful view of the Herzogenhorn opposite and the Feldberg behind it. We made the descent over the pig's head, whereby the marked Komoot paths sometimes looked more like off-grid sections. For this you will be rewarded at the south-western end with beautiful views of the valley and we also met deer and chamois. Further down the valley we went again on fine split to the beginning of an alpine path above Präg. This again delivers pure Black Forest romance and leads steeply back into the valley of our starting point. Despite the not insignificant proportion of forest highways, a beautiful, rewarding tour of the Präger glacier basin with the Blößling as the icing on the cake.

On the first day of our short vacation in the Black Forest, we undertook the first small tour in changeable weather. The rock path through the Bannwald to the Rappenfelsen was worth it. Unfortunately, uploading to Komoot works more badly than right because of the modest cellular network or WLAN
