After our flight to Frankfurt was cancelled – due to strong winds around Funchal airport, we made a last-minute change of plans. There are no daily flights to Frankfurt with Condor and we gave up on rebooking after several attempts. So we have three more days left on Madeira. We rent another vehicle

Before we leave tomorrow, we're doing another "mountain tour" today - from Pico do Arieiro to Pedra Rija. Pico do Arieiro, at 1,818 meters, is one of the highest mountains on Madeira.
