  • Prince Michael Stourdza had this very beautiful Romanian Orthodox chapel built as the Prince of Moldova, today's Republic of Moldova, from 1864 to 1866 as a family tomb. The city of Baden-Baden thanked him in 1872 by awarding him honorary citizenship.
