로다노 최고의 라이딩 경로

Muzza 운하는 유럽에서 가장 오래된 운하로, 올해 Paullo 시와 Pro Loco 및 기타 지자체와의 협력으로 800주년을 기념했습니다. 그 기원은 실제로 1220년으로 거슬러 올라가며, 신성 로마 제국의 황제로 즉위한 프리드리히 2세가 로디 주민들에게 영토 내 흐르는 물의 사용권을 부여하는 제국 칙령을 발표했습니다. 약 60km에 달하는 현재 경로는 Cassano d’Adda에서 해발 120m 높이에서 Adda의 물을 받아 로디 지역을 약 40km 통과하여 Castiglione d’Adda 근처 해발 45m 높이에서 다시 Adda로 흘려보냅니다. 계절에 따라 초당 약 20만 리터의 유량, 초기 폭 50미터에서 경로 끝에서 몇 미터로 줄어드는 폭, 평균 깊이 2미터의 조절된 수량 체계를 가지고 있습니다.

Despite appearances, the wheel is not a mill, but a noria. Its function, in fact, was never to grind grain or power machinery, but rather to lift water from the canal to channel it into an irrigation system.

We are in Groppello, a hamlet in the municipality of Cassano d'Adda, and we must go back in time to 1618, when Cardinal Federico Borromeo commissioned this large wheel to convey the water needed to irrigate the vegetable gardens and gardens of the Archbishop's Villa. It is said that this majestic work, at the Cardinal's request, was designed by Leonardo da Vinci himself. Which, if anything, adds to its charm.
