The Kronsbek is a small river that rises east of Osdorf and flows into the Baltic Sea near the Aschau Lagoon. Noerer Straße crosses it here in the town center.

The Friesenwall was originally a fieldstone wall covered with plants, serving as a robust enclosure for farms in the Schleswig-Holstein marshes. Here is a particularly beautiful example.

The Kronsbek is a small river that rises east of Osdorf and flows into the Baltic Sea near the Aschau Lagoon. The hiking trail crosses the floodplain over a simple bridge. A bench under old cherry trees invites you to linger at a gentle bend in the path.

'Kleines Holz' (Little Wood) is the name given to this small patch of mixed forest. The Großes Holz (Great Wood) lies to the west.

Directly behind the church lies Osdorf's peaceful community cemetery. Founded in the early 1970s, it boasts a clean layout with symmetrically planted linden trees and covered gravestones. Peaceful, simple—and with a touch of Nordic dignity. 🌿

The Our Father Church in Osdorf was built in 1967/68 as part of Schleswig-Holstein's chapel building program. The church features a simple cruciform floor plan – particularly striking inside, thanks to the impressive colorful round window above the altar, designed by the Bavarian Countess Hohenthal. The church tower rises a proud 27 meters (90 feet) in height, but has always been slightly crooked – tilted about 20 centimeters (8 inches) to the west. Perhaps it gave itself a good view of the congregation?  😉When Pastor Anika Tittes preaches, she doesn't need a pulpit – she speaks at eye level with everyone, without any "tower-climbing" feeling.

The Augustenhof farm itself is closed to hikers – but the linden avenue leading to it is. This 300-meter-long beauty is a true hiking delight: a gravel path beneath ancient, majestic linden trees. The view of the avenue from the hiking trails in the adjacent fields is particularly beautiful. It leads over a moat by the farm pond. Here, it is paved with cobblestones. An atmospheric spot with a classic estate flair.
