    This was an auxiliary gate at the south end of the curtain between the bastions Michael and Gabriel. It was well protected and hidden behind the Ravelin Anselm and the two bezels. The gate path is not straight, but immediately turns 90 degrees to the north after passing the gate and runs in a long covered corridor or tunnel to the next higher level (with lower and upper pots).
