Harzer Wanderkaiser👸🤴

We country bumpkins successfully fought our way through the city traffic, which was full of construction sites, to the main station. We don't know exactly where we'll get off, it's heading towards Regensburg🚄

There was no planning for the route today, the only priority was to visit the Weltenburg Monastery. We started in Etting in the morning, heading towards Ingolstadt to the Danube. So it's best to start here on the Danube cycle path, mh... we found it relatively boring quite quickly. We drove for a while…

Actually there were other plans today, but the sun simply lured us out for a short, unspectacular lap around Lake Sundhäuser. The weather was simply fantastic and the lake is always good, no big adventure, just soak up the air and sun.

Bodenwerder on the Weser, well if that's not worth a stop with the great weather, it just had to be. Finding a parking space wasn't that easy, they were all full...but we won't let that get us down. A chat with a few locals and hey presto they found us a parking space. So we started on foot towards the…

Today our route from the north took us through Hamelin, where we had an appointment. We found a parking space relatively quickly and set off towards the Weser, how nice...even if it was still a bit hazy. But that changed relatively quickly and the sun pampered us with light and warmth. We didn't know…

Osnabrück, with around 167,000 inhabitants, is the fourth largest city in Lower Saxony, what do you do here? Yes, we meet our family here and explore the city. One has the impression that there are more bicycle streets here than normal car streets. We learned that these are relatively new and are the…

….then Miezie sets off again. The weather was right again today so I got on the bikes to go for another ride, it feels so good. Even though you notice that it's getting darker and earlier, we drove home in a short shirt and without a jacket without freezing, that probably won't work for much longer.

There is no animal that you do as much for as the cat. In our case, it's Miezie, the can openers are on vacation and as a gesture of friendship we took care of them for a few days. This after work session of blowing your head felt so good after a really hot day. PS: the pictures are somehow not assigned to their positions today

This morning we took the RB17 of the agilis train towards Regensburg. In Saal an der Donau we decided to get out and continue cycling along the Danube. Cycling along the river to Regensburg was just the way we like it, the paths always directly along the water, accompanied by bizarre rock formations…
