The "Fujian Assembly Hall" of the Fujian Chinese is the largest and most impressive of the five remaining assembly halls in Hoi An. The building was built as a meeting place and trading center for the Fujian Chinese. Later, the place was converted into a temple for Thien Hau, the goddess of the sea.

Beautiful bonsai and countless, well-scented frangipani trees, also in miniature form, adorn the outdoor area of today's temple complex.

This is the most magnificent and largest gathering hall of the Chinese founded in 1792.
