Besides the reason to take advantage of the nice weather, this tour only had to buy one trout from the fisherman in Klein Wall. Dinner is secured. The matjes roll on site was fresh and tasty as always. And of course the walk around the Spreeau is always a delight in nature.

I accidentally deleted my Buckow tour yesterday. Well, it will probably be repeated, given the beautiful area.Today the crane tour from Gartz (Oder) was on the plan, which was a bit of a challenge because of the wind. Nevertheless, a recommendable round - unbelievable width on wonderful bike paths or hardly used roads with 1A underground.Unfortunately, there is an Oder-Neisse cycle path diversion between Friedrichsthal and Gartz, but the diversion is quite acceptable.

I had already saved this tour in 2018, no idea on which website I found what I was looking for. The weather god made sure of this selection today, because sun without rain was the promise for this region. That has worked so far.
Almost without exception, the route is on country roads, not heavily traveled, but therefore always somehow noisy. The highlight were the Schlosspark Blankensee and the small town of Blankensee with its museum tavern, which actually delighted with herringbone rolls and fresh waffles (great combination) and more. Conclusion: A sporty round on solid ground, but not a nature pleasure tour.

My second first time this year on the Oder. After the Brieger geese, the next highlight were the Adonis roses. Heard a lot and never seen it before. Luckily Lebus was granted sun today and so the yellow flowers on the slopes of the Oder shone in the sunshine. On the upper Adonis hiking trail you have a fantastic view of the Oder.

Easter is hiking time - you can do a hike twice. It's funny when you only notice in the middle of the route that you've been here before. But that's not bad either, because this hiking trail is beautiful, always offers a clear view of the lake and far less visited than the usual highlights.

Sun, wind and blue sky - even without flocks of cranes, an idyllic circular hike on the Linumer ponds and therefore definitely recommended. Right at the beginning of the village, a small parking lot offers a start through reed-covered ponds and unspoilt paths. Many raised stands along the way allow a panoramic view of the pond with its plumage. One or the other farm shop in the village offered the opportunity to bag local products at the end. That's how I like it.
