Chùa Cầu (Japanese Bridge) is a covered pedestrian bridge in the Vietnamese city of Hội An that is part of the World Heritage-listed historic center. This bridge is painted pink and made of wood. Especially in winter this bridge is under water. It is part of Trần Phú Street and crosses the Thu Bồn River. The bridge is also known as the Japanese Bridge, due to the merchants and investors from Japan in the seventeenth century. The bridge is part of a larger temple complex. This pagoda was restored in 1817, 1865, 1915 and 1986.
