The group of three wolves is part of the South Route of the International Art Trail. The work is by the Belgian artist Marion Burghouwt. It is very interesting to see the figures up close.

Wolves haunt people, but are also respected by them as the embodiment of the unconquered spirit. Often hunted and driven out, the wolves manage with discipline and rituals to open up new habitats - similar to the people in general, or specifically to the Flemish who immigrated to the High Fläming 850 years ago.
Away from the path is a group of three full-grown wolves with shaggy fur, which the observer sees as dense (= strong) or sparse (= vulnerable). The latter view is revealed only when you look more closely and is also meant in a figurative sense.

Definitely worth seeing. Especially on cloudy days, the group exudes a ghostly mood.
