Hiking

The Blankenheimer Brotpfad is a path that was used for a long time by the villagers south of Blankenheim to bring bread to Blankenheim and sell it there (or to pay taxes and duties to the count's treasurer). The route leads us from Blankenheim to Ripsdorf in the south. On its way to the Mirbach Church of the Redeemer, the Eifelsteig leads exactly over this Blankenheim bread path.

Hiking

The bridge over the Nonnenbach was severely damaged in the flood disaster in mid-July 2021, but has now been repaired and can therefore be walked on safely.

Hiking

Right at the beginning of the bread path, you cross the Nonnenbach here. We recommend following this stream through the valley named after it to the place Nonnenbach, we have already seen black storks here.
