The Blankenheimer Brotpfad is a path that was used for a long time by the villagers south of Blankenheim to bring bread to Blankenheim and sell it there (or to pay taxes and duties to the count's treasurer). The route leads us from Blankenheim to Ripsdorf in the south. On its way to the Mirbach Church of the Redeemer, the Eifelsteig leads exactly over this Blankenheim bread path.
