Auf den Belchen
Wir sind mal wieder im Südschwarzwald. Das Wetter hat nochmal sommerliche Temperaturen. Also ziehen wir zuerst hinauf auf unseren Lieblingsberg - den Belchen (1414 m).

At the summit, we are rewarded with a magnificent view of the snow-covered Swiss Alps, the mighty Rhine Valley, and the Münstertal.
At the Belchenhaus, we had a coffee.
The way back over the Krinne was very moderate.

Georoute O bei Weibern
Wir starten diese schöne Rundwanderung in Engeln am Endbahnhof der Brohltalbahn. Zunächst führt der Weg über die Wiesen mit herrlichen Aussichten ins Brohltal, auf die Burgruine Olbrück und bis zum Rhein hinüber auf das Siebengebirge.

Buntsandsteinfelsen an der Burg Nideggen

Durch das Vischeltal nach Altenahr
Wir starten an der Kirche in Todenfeld. Der Bus 🚌 hat uns vom Bahnhof Rheinbach hier hinaufgebracht. Nun schlendern wir zunächst auf dem Tomberg-Rundweg hinüber zu den Eisensteinen, einer kleinen Felsenlandschaft.

Yes, that was a beautiful, leisurely hike in the back valleys and heights of the Ahrberge. We set off from Todenfeld towards Hilberath and into the Vischeltal. A wonderfully natural valley, with a cozily meandering Vischelbach.

Nice cool Saturday round through the Kottenforst to the Venusberg. A pleasant breeze always blows towards us. Past the UKB and Marienhospital, it goes downhill to Poppelsdorf. Mal zur Steinbachtalsperre schauen
Unsere Radtour zur Steinbachtalsperre verläuft über bekannte Radwege. Bis Rheinbach radeln wir oft, nur den Trip nach Schweinheim und hinauf zur Steinbachtalsperre haben wir lange nicht gemacht. Ist aber Wegmäßig schön - bis auf den Schotterweg zur Talsperre.

Fahrradtour über Rheinbach zur Ahr und durch den Saffenbergtunnel
Eigentlich wollen wir nur durch die Wälder radeln, um die kühle Luft zu genießen. Hinter dem Kottenforst nehmen wir dann Rheinbach als Zwischenziel. Hier biegen wir am Römerkanal links ab zur Glasfachschule. Dahinter steigt der Waldweg ab hinauf nach Todenfeld.
Oben angekommen radeln wir mit schönem Ausblick auf die Ahrberge…
