Hiking Highlight (Segment)
The Lampertstal is a side valley of the Ahr valley and a nature reserve south of Blankenheim.
The Eifelsteig leads on the route Alendorf - Mirbach in the middle.
Depending on the season, there are beautiful colorful plants to admire, such as the pasque, cowslips, anemones and numerous species of orchids, later in the year, autumnal times and gentian.
Particularly striking are the countless juniper bushes that overgrow the slopes.
Somehow, the Lampertstal is a bit off the beaten track, which is immediately noticeable in the peace. No street noise, many butterflies and benches that invite you to linger and take a deep breath.
