The Lampertstal is a side valley of the Ahr valley and a nature reserve south of Blankenheim. The Eifelsteig leads through the middle of the Alendorf - Mirbach route.

Depending on the season, there are beautiful colorful plants to admire, such as pasque flowers, cowslips, anemones and numerous types of orchid, later in the year autumn crocus and gentian. The countless juniper bushes that cover the slopes are particularly striking.

Somehow the Lampertstal is a bit out of the way, which is noticeable in the calm. No street noise, lots of butterflies and benches that invite you to linger and take a deep breath.

The Lampertstal is a side valley of the Ahrtal. Numerous hiking trails and hiking trails open up one of the most important nature reserves in the region. With an area of 650 hectares, it is one of the largest nature reserves in North Rhine-Westphalia. For flower lovers, we recommend a visit to the Lampert Valley in June when the orchids are in bloom.
