Actually, today it was about pre-hiking and pre-tasting at the Bad Godesberg brooks and healing springs. The brooks gushed, but unfortunately the springs are not today. So after a colorful, entertaining round we had to switch to the (delicious) Godesberg mulled wine ...
      Happy, happy 2nd Advent everyone!

It was a real lucky day for us today!
The first snow came to the Eifel overnight and the tour planned on the PC turned out to be wonderfully walkable for us.
The start and finish are in lovable Mülheim and from there it went on via the rocket station to Lake Freilingen. Then the round led us over open fields and offered the most beautiful views of the Eifel landscape. We continued past Reetz and to a great section of the Ahrsteig on small paths in the steep slope, before arriving back in the Mülheimer Bachtal. The crossing of the stream turned out to be quite adventurous today, as the expected bridge fell victim to the flood. We hopped over stones to the other bank and arrived back in Mülheim so dry, happy and satisfied. We highly recommend the tour for post-hiking. (Assuming some surefootedness for the few steep and wet passages)
In April 2022 we will also offer this tour for the Eifelverein as a guided group hike.

The prettiest thing about the dipper path is unfortunately its name.
The round leads without a single path over the widest farm roads along several streams through the nature reserve Manscheider Bachtal.
Since you are accompanied on a long part of the tour by the noise of the traffic on the partially parallel country road, we unfortunately cannot recommend this short hike as a post-hike and ask the great little dipper for understanding ...

Today we went along the Panoramaweg near Leudersdorf in a good freezing temperature and here the name really says it all, the whole hike is a huge sight!
The round leads largely over fields and heights and offers constant wide views over the beautiful Eifel landscape, including the Nürburg, the Aremberg and the Arensberg.
The rather high asphalt portion of the path didn't bother us today, the views were just too spectacular for that. We definitely recommend this round for hikers, especially in autumn and winter, but in the hot summer months the round hardly offers any shade.

We really liked the Mühlsteinweg near Müllenborn.
The hike leads, among other things, on small paths through an impressive rock fall, past a Celtic grave and offers several great views of the beautiful volcanic landscape.
We have included the detour to the spectacular millstone cave in the round, which, to our amazement, is not visited on the original round. A shame, because this cave is accessible and you can find some millstones that have been started on the walls and on the ceiling. Our personal highlight of the extremely beautiful, informative and varied round.
By the way, mountain goats can easily avoid the part of the path that runs on a road: a steep trail leads up as an alternative right at the beginning (km 5.23). Today it was too slippery and too steep for us. There were hardly any cars there today either.
We would definitely like to recommend the tour to those who want to hike afterwards, even with today's dreary November weather it was a pleasure to walk.

This is a beautiful, varied circuit that leads along several lakes and ponds as well as through the spectacular Celtic ring wall near Walberberg. Without making any compromises, we include this hike in our after-work program and thank Sandra again for the company and for her good mood despite the cloudy autumn weather.

Today we were extremely "off the track" and it was just great!
Again a quickly planned tour with public transport, which first led us into the beautiful natural forest cell near Witterschlick and then through the dreamy Katzenlochbachtal. We had never heard of this valley before and we hiked, slid and sometimes climbed a bit on small paths along the Katzlochbach.
Then we continued through the beautiful, sometimes quite wild, autumn forest of the Kottenforst to Bonn.
Komoot simply ended the tour after about halfway, so the second part follows: komoot.de/tour/564775443?ref=aso
Our conclusion: we are enthusiastic about this hiking area, which is new to us, will definitely come back and would like to warmly recommend a visit to the Katzenlochbach valley for sporty hikers!
