In 1856, the Hardesvogtei (Bailiff's Office) was built as the administrative headquarters of the Hüttener Harden Fleckebys. It is one of the last remaining buildings of its kind in the entire South Schleswig region. Today, the building houses the elementary and adult education center, as well as an exhibition on the development and functions of the Harden (medieval settlement communities).

The bakery is located in the town center on Dorfstrasse. Next door is a parking lot with 3 hours free parking on weekdays.

You can't see the transformer house from a distance. It blends in with the area.

The neoclassical palace was originally built in 1776 as a summer residence for Landgrave Carl of Hesse and his wife Louise, daughter of the Danish King Frederick V. In 1949, Duke Frederick of Schleswig-Holstein founded the boarding school here. Well-known personalities such as coffee king Albert Darboven, Countess Christiane zu Rantzau (Christie's auction house), and shipowner Erck Rickmers attended school here.
