The building is fenced off, locked and entering is a criminal offence.
It belongs to the owners of the Forst Brewery in Merano.

Hiking

Make sure to walk the entire loop clockwise! That means from the Enzianhütte car park via the Plimaschlucht adventure trail to the Zufallhütte. From there, take the new path 150/33A into the Pedertal and then back to the car park.
Komoot recorded the walking time incorrectly, probably because the new path is not yet known. At a leisurely pace, with breaks to look around and take photos, the whole loop took about 5 hours.

Fascinating, red ruin of the former luxury hotel "Paradiso" (anno 1933-35). Until the outbreak of the 2nd World Luxury hotel with post office, butcher, baker, hairdresser, etc .. Was extended after 1952 by a shipowner and painted red, but never reopened. Owned by a South Tyrolean brewery family since 1966 - the former hotel disappears rapidly ... Can only be visited from the outside and has something "mystical" ... ;-).
