Varied tour that includes everything. Through the beautiful medieval old town, over the water tower to the Rauschbart beer garden with the fantastic panoramic plateau. (Beer garden currently closed, of course).
It was voted the most beautiful German beer garden in 2012. From experience I can say: It was half Göckele and Dr Honger. They are really good. As a substitute, we enjoyed our own Vespers this time.
The way back later then always along the Neckar, through the site of the former Federal Garden Show.

Start at the outdoor pool in Calw-Stammheim. There is enough free parking space here. At the beginning approx.
1.5 km on asphalt road until it goes into the forest. Then down for a while along the Nagold into the Schleiftal.
Over the Schlittenbach Bridge to the Lower Mill with the largest mill wheel in Europe. The diameter is an impressive 11.5 meters
      80 shovels.
The mill is currently being restored. Take a short snack break on the bench in front of the mill,
before it goes back to Stammheim via the Himmelsleiter climb.

Start at the parking lot of the silver mine in Neubulach, which is currently closed due to the corona. The hike leads through Neubulach, Altbulach
down to Nagold in the Seitzental. From then on up again via the bat path to the silver mine. This beautiful path always goes along the Ziegelbach. A dream to splash around with children in summer. If you just want to do the bat trail, you need about one
3/4 hour. The tour is signposted from the silver mine.

For a short time this morning with a clear blue sky, but still cool temperatures, decided to go hiking. It was too fresh for us to ride a bike.
Since it is Easter Sunday, a tour without a hotspot near home is wanted. The tour was spontaneously taken over by Yuschu.
      Thanks a lot for this.
Since the route was known to us from biking, we modified it a bit for hiking.

      First e-bike tour this year
Manne22 picked up in Nufringen to Aidlingen and drove through the nature reserve Venusberg.
At the top of the highest point, the remains of the bunker and VHF rotary radio beacon from 1944 were viewed. The 120-ton antenna was built on a concrete ring with a diameter of 22.6 m. The concrete ring is still well preserved. Only the rails are missing.
On to Dätzingen Castle 🏰 and lunch break 🍔🍻 at the lake there.
Via Deufringen back to drinking coffee☕ to Nufringen. The last stretch via Herrenberg to Gäufelden was purely a matter of form. Even the sore muscles survived everything well
      has its limits.

A great tour planned at home on the PC.
From Fridingen across the Danube, first inspect the brick cave on the right-hand side. Also found after a short search. But it wasn't easy to start today. Footpaths slippery and hardly recognizable. Continue to the Kallenberg castle ruins with a cave. Then descend into the Danube Valley, have Vespers and cross the Danube at a ford. Then enter the Felsenweg.
      That was the plan.
Unfortunately, the Danube did not participate. The ford was impassable due to high water and rapid currents.
      So I kept walking upstream.
According to the map, you can cross the Danube approx. 5 km further at the Jägerhaus. I thought, bridge and all is well.
Puff cake. It is also just a ford with large ashlar stones to walk over. But they are currently under water and extremely slippery.
So we had no choice but to walk back the "unbridgeable Danube" in the truest sense of the word on the same route.
      So please don't copy it.
I think in the foreseeable future when the meltwater is a thing of the past, the Danube can be crossed again without any problems. Or you stay on the Neckar, there comes äl Pfurz a Brück.
But against all odds. Beautiful landscape. It was a dream day today.

Since the car was being inspected by Nagold, the Waldachtal was ideal for a hiking tour. Starting in Neu Nuifra, we passed the fruit distillery with a charcoal pile, along the Waldach to the Wasserhäusle. Then steeply up to the most beautiful of the three castle ruins of the Mant (d) elburg. There is no agreement on the spelling. Going up the spiral staircase you almost get a twisting worm.
      Who knows about the crocheted
      "Albmonsterle" can look forward to
      the pleasure also determined
the crochet stuffed animal enchantment along the Waldach.
From the Silberbrünnele to the Nördlinger Hütte, the lovingly crocheted animals and mushrooms hang in the trees directly on the hiking trail.
Many new ones, but also some that the "ravages of time" have already gnawed at.
The Nördlinger Hütte, where the Vörburg was built on a former tower, is ideal for a hiking break. Have a quick look at the ruin Rüdenberg, where a few foundation walls can still be seen. Then uphill on mossy paths back to the parking lot where our car was waiting for us alone. Great hike that is not very well known. I can only recommend them.

The Blaustrümpflerweg is ideal for those who want to combine city and nature. The official start is at Marienplatz. If you want to run clockwise you can go up the first slope to Degerloch with the "Zacke".
But since we were arriving by car, we parked up at the forest cemetery. We deliberately made the tour counter-clockwise in order to finally go up the last steep section with the historic cable car.
      Pure nostalgia.
