The Zufallhütte is the first stop after the Enzianhütte or the hiking trail in the Plimaschlucht. Located directly above the suspension bridge, you have a beautiful view here, you can rest well and let the mountains work on you. There is also a playground. You should know that there is no service at the table here, you get your drinks and food from the innkeeper.

Much can be discovered in the vicinity of the chance hut. For hikers who do not want to go much further is the suspension bridge, the impressive waterfall but also the remnants of the buildings from the wartime worth seeing.

The Zufallhütte can be reached from the car park at the end of the Martelltales valley via the Plimaschluchten trail, which has a lot to offer. Exciting hike over rocky paths with many small streams. Great for kids.

The Zufallhütte is beautifully situated at an altitude of 2264 m at the end of the Martell valley. From here you have a great view down into the Martell valley. It serves as a starting point for hikes z. B. to the Cevedale (but is already mountaineering) or as a transition over the Madritschjoch into the Sulden valley. And it is one of the few AV huts in the entire Alpine region that has a sauna. A visit and, above all, an overnight stay there is definitely worth it.

With panoramic views of the mountains and glaciers, you can enjoy its delicious Kaiserschmarren, while the kids romp in the playground.

Top well-kept hut. During the ski season, the Pope is probably boxing here. The hut is open to a limited extent during the hiking season. Nice staff, enough parking spaces and good value for money. The tours that leave the hut are very well marked.

On the way to the Zufallhütte, a variety of different flowers and orchids will bloom from mid-June. (Spring gentian, yellow gentian, forget-me-not, orchid, globeflowers, alpine roses, etc.)

Very nice managed refuge at the head of the Martell valley, a southern side valley of the Vinschgau.
We visited the hut on our hike from the Zufrittsee to the Plimaschlucht and were very pleased with the friendliness of the hut owner and the service staff. We recommend the delicious fried potatoes with fried eggs and bacon. In addition, a cold wheat beer on tap. Hiker's heart, what more could you want?

The chance hut is worth it alone because of the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape ... and of course because of the good food and the friendly service.
