1360 vertical meters at a stretch (+ a small bonus by an intermediate slope before Martell), the rise goes up through Martelltal. Good stretched two lanes, the route goes from Morter with about 10% on meadow slopes up to Martell. From here, the route is narrower, but still in good shape and leads in the valley bottom at a moderate slope to a valley threshold, which is overcome in two serpentine. After a short, shallow passage you will reach the ascent to the top of the Zufrittsee dam. Passing the lake, it's flat and then right up to the end and up to a 15% incline, sometimes a bit more, over a few hairpin bends to the end of the road at the Zufallhütte car park.
The whole Martelltal is very worth seeing, the traffic is low and especially the Zufrittsee and the impressive mountains at the end of the road make this trip absolutely recommendable. Strawberry quail can be highly recommended for restoring energy reserves.

Beautifully quiet valley. Highly recommended it is also a side trip to the Stallwieshof to make. In Gand simply follow the signs "Waldberg" or "Ennethal" and drive to the end. After a few more meters you can stop here and have a great view of the mountains of the rear Martelltals.
