Mountaineering
From Oberstdorf you can take the mountaineer line no. 8 to here, the fare is 3.90 €. The buses run every hour at 10 minutes past the hour, the last bus leaves at 18:10 (Attention ÖVPN tickets are not valid here).
The village lies at an altitude of 1071 meters and is the starting point for numerous hikes including the Kemptner Hütte.
