However, we did the tour the other way around. Up with the train and down to the Vilsalpsee. Dream tour in dream weather. 🏔🙋🏻♂️

Finally mountains again. On the way to the Tannheimer Tal we stopped in Oberjoch today. After it stopped raining around 1 p.m., today's tour took us over the Kühgundkopf and the wonderful ridge path to the Iseler. It was quite windy and cold, but dry and we even got a few rays of sunshine from time to time.

The 6th and last day of the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg led unmarked through the city of Berlin. He led through an incredible number of green spaces, but also through less beautiful corners of Berlin. We deviated from the tour template a few times today because the alternative on site suggested itself. The path…

The 5th and penultimate stage took us from Königs Wusterhausen to Köpenick. We liked the route today, but the signage differed from the tour template in part, and the signage stopped about 10 km from the finish.

Day 4 on the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg led us from Motzen to Königs Wusterhausen. Although everything is flat here, we are still flat at the end of this hiking day. Sometimes you run almost straight for several kilometers, today we went first through the forest, later over the field, but still interesting because…

The third stage of the PGW took us from Märkisch Buchholz to Motzen. Originally we wanted to hike to Mittenwalde, but didn't get any accommodation there, so we're staying in Motzen. In hiking, as in life, not everything goes according to plan. Paul Gerhardt also experienced this. That's probably one…

Today's stage took us from Schlepzig to Märkisch-Buchholz. While we met many cyclists yesterday, we only met one family on today's stage. The flat but varied path led back along the river, canal and lakes, unfortunately there was nowhere to stop for refreshments.
Each stage of the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg has…

Back to the Rhön. I got the tour template from Claudia. The area is very beautiful, but the Green Belt paths were often overgrown. Unfortunately, the Katzenstein was also closed. Nevertheless, it was interesting to hike along the former border.
