From here you have a beautiful view of Dresden. There is also a small park here to linger.

From the Friedensblick you can look wonderfully down into the Elbe valley.
The platform is located directly above the spa park from a time when the Weißer Hirsch was a sanatorium under the leadership of Dr. Lahmann's was born. Many beautiful villas in the immediate vicinity and the historic obelisk also bear witness to this.

Here we enjoy a great view over Dresden and can take a break in the park: the lookout point created in 1932 was named Friedensblick after the Second World War. This is because the residents of here had to witness the bombing of the city center in February 1945. The park also includes an obelisk commemorating the Saxon King Friedrich August II, who died in an accident in 1854 while on vacation in Bavaria.
