Ich geh gern spontan spazieren oder wandern. Meist stell ich davon eine Bilderauswahl auf Instagram. Die Wanderung wird außerdem zum Nachwandern auf meinen Blog gestellt.
Today I continued with the left Elbe part of the Malerweg. This is on a plateau and some villages and meadows have to be crossed. The Papststein, Gohrisch and Pfaffenstein are great highlights, but many people know that.
The paths were very varied. Lots of steps, forest paths, paths and some roads that were very quiet. Unfortunately, the hiking trail was not always clear.

Today I went to the first hiking suggestion from DVB Dresden. The foray showed beautiful buildings. The street noise was a nuisance along the Weißeritz. Afterwards it became more and more beautiful with views of Dresden from the slope. I decided on the connecting route and walked through the splendid Dresden Plauen to the spruce tower. Due to the corona, it closed and it went to the endpoint Münchner Platz.

By chance I became aware of the Archaeo path in Dresden on the Internet. The Prohlis - Nickern area has many Stone Age discoveries to offer. The path leads partly on busy streets, along streams or through beautiful nature and repeatedly shows beautiful views of Dresden. You can also find out more about the history at the information steles.

After work, we went to Meißen for a short tour today. On the Elbe it went on the Elbe Cycle Path to the Vincent Richter winery. There it went to the Spaar Mountains and the way went better. The highlight is the Boselspitze with a view of Dresden and Saxon Switzerland. The next highlight with a view of Meißen to the cathedral and the Albrechtsburg is the Juchhöh viewpoint. From there it went down and then over the Jagdsteig straight up again through a vineyard. Then a little more through beautiful Meißner residential areas and the beautiful round was over.

Today we went to the city of Kreischa to run the circular route F. Sometimes the marking is a bit difficult to see, but if you know the rough direction, it works. On narrow paths and country lanes you go up to Maxen, where you have beautiful views up to the Goldene Höhe and into Saxon Switzerland. The descent over the Croatian Gorge is also beautiful, otherwise the path is highlight arm. The end along the main road was sometimes dangerous as there was no sidewalk.

Today I was back on the painter's path. From the Lichtenhain waterfall I went straight to the cowshed, which I had to myself. After the detour to the Himmelsleiter it went over the Kirnitzschtal to the Kleinstein cave with a great view. Over the Pohlshorn with today a very muddy - slippery ascent it went to the armory. The ascent to the Großer Winterberg is a long one and the path was sometimes difficult to find through the leaves. As the grand finale, I was allowed to go down the mountain to Schmilka. The steps strained me more than the fire steps down. Schmilka is a really nice place with a great bakery. The right-hand section is now complete.

Today we went on a hiking tour provided by the Dresden hiking and mountaineering association including a stamp card. One tour in each direction results in the compass rose. Today we went south. It was a nice up and down with great views to Saxon Switzerland and great old town centers.

Today we continued on the Malerweg. We went to the Schrammsteinen via beautiful forest paths. We walked along the ridge over some ladders and small climbing units. The descent was very sandy but I'm in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Then, unfortunately, it went on a forest highway to the well-visited Lichtenhain waterfall.

Today we started early from Rathen. Hardly any people were out. The only annoying thing is the rough paving stone floor. The first time was upwards at the Amselfallbaude to Rathewalde. There you have a great view of the Schneeberg and Lilienstein. It's easy on a main road to the Hockstein with a beautiful view of the Polenztal and Hohnstein. Down through the Wolfsschlucht and on the other side of the Polenz up and comfortably up to partially monotonous to the fire view, the balcony of the Saxon Switzerland. Really a nice place for a break before going down the fire levels and back to Waitzdorf in stages. There we went down through the forest to the Kohlmühle and then along the railway before we went up to Altendorf again. The bus would only have come in 40 minutes, so I went through the steep and stony Dorfbachklamm down to the Kirnitzschtal, where I ended the hike.

Since I still had a little time today, I went the 2nd stage of the Malerweg. From Lohmen we went comfortably to the Uttewalder Grund with great rocks. After the rock gate, however, the path becomes more monotonous on an asphalt path. In Wehlen you walk a bit along the Elbradweg before it goes uphill towards the Bastei and the Steinernen Tisch. From the rise on there were always people on the move. From just before the bastion en masse. I'm hoping not to be pushed through next time.
