The excursion from Wilschdorf to Trachau will surprise you, as rarely do pure nature, early settlement history, and modernity collide as strongly and yet harmoniously as here. The trail leads you from the heart of "Silicon

Dresden's Elbe valley is idyllically embedded - on the right bank of the Elbe between the foothills of the West Lusatian hills and mountains, on the left bank of the Elbe between those of the Eastern Ore Mountains. There are wonderful views of the city on both sides of the slopes, some of which we have

With our 22nd foray, we invite you to a hike to the east of Dresden, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city, the Elbe valley and the surrounding area from fields, forests and plateaus. A hundred years ago, it would have been a trip outside the city gates, because it was only in the course

A few kilometers away from the pulsating city life, pleasant peace and pure nature await us. The almost rural villages on the outskirts of Dresden are characterized by small streams, deciduous forests and lush green meadows. We hike along the Nöthnitz and Geberbach, over the slopes of southern Dresden

Ores were once dug in the Saxon Elector's popular deer hunting grounds and the valley of the mills on the raging torrent, as well as planers and rotlegens mined. Around 1900, especially at the time of fruit blossom, the people of Dresden flocked here and the former mills became popular inns. Today the

Excellent directions, so even someone with a poor sense of direction can easily manage. The weather wasn't great today, but it was still a lovely hike.
