Today I quoted a tour - but I don't know the source anymore. 🤔 But that's not so important for a few years now. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Not only the Weißeritztalbahn was on my plan, but the course of the entire Rote Weißeritz - from the source to the mouth.
Origin: Large gallows pond near Altenberg
Spring height: 787 m above sea level NN
      Height difference: 604.4 m
      Length: 36.5 km
Mouth: Association in Freital-Hainsberg with the Wilden Weißeritz to the Weißeritz
From Altenberg station, the first thing to do was to Kahleberg (905m). ⛰ It is mandatory once you are up here.
Otherwise I always throw myself into the cross-country trail ⛷, but today quiet forest paths await me up to the summit. 🌲
Enjoy the view at 8 ° C and sunshine. We can start now! 💪🏻
My first "trail" was a grip on the 🚽- not passable for me. So shouldered the bike and piled through the blueberries along beautiful log heaps.
As soon as the path was again a path, it went smoothly down to the source of the Rote Weißeritz below the gallows pond.
This was followed by tricky, adventurous paths full of roots and stones along the beautifully proven and forested Weißeritztal.
And from Kipsdorf, fast cobbled streets or asphalt dominated. But every escapade was used and so I kept getting close to the river without constantly encountering annoying cars. 🚗🚜
Shortly before the Malter dam, I came very close to the river again along a rather overgrown, small path - this evening I have to look for ticks. 🦂😉
Just in time for the announced rain shower ich I found shelter ☔️ over the Malter dam. 🌊 15 minute break, crispy rolls and continue along the panorama path 🌄 along the dam - really nice. Always stony or rooty, but always easy to drive.Over the dam and back down into the valley. The following Rabenauer reason is a pleasure. 👌🏻 This is the first time I've used it in its entirety.
About half of the time I met the long-awaited locomotive 🚂 and the pleasant smell of burned coal 💣 - as before. 😉
In the vicinity of Freital, day trippers and families then piled up - so always be careful. Then off into the city traffic and out of the valley.
From the south he only had to let it roll.
      Really a pleasure tour. 🚵🏻‍♂️🍰😍

Today with GPX upload, annoying. The app stupidly swallowed my recording. 🤬

Proceed twice, but still found the right way.
Today I wasn't too moved to take a lot of photos. But the hazy weather wasn't always there to stop often. I would have melted there.

About Torsten

Hallo,
