The furnishings of the Glückstadt town pharmacy on Deichstraße date back to 1830. There were once herbs and jars with medicines on numerous shelves. The smell of the medicines was stored in the wood, and so the room still exudes a pleasant, medicinal scent to this day. After more than 100 years of constant use, the facility ended up in the Detlefsen Museum and fills up an entire room here. For the visitor there is information about medicinal plants and their use as well as earlier medical devices.
