Docke is the name given to the area at Glückstadt's outer harbor to this day. The name comes from the time when the city was founded, when there was a dock here for the Danish fleet. The long tradition of fishing and fish processing inspired the idea of creating a fish park here - funded by EU funds. The goal was to offer "plenty of space and space to run around, play or skate." In fact, the spacious area with a few fish-themed play equipment makes a rather empty and therefore desolate impression.
