The tour was planned to be longer and with a completely different heading.
But when it rained heavily, the mood sank a bit.
We enjoyed the fish sandwich anyway. The fish sandwiches at the museum harbor are legendary. Even a Flens in continuous rain fits.
Rum from Flensburg, for home also had to be.
So we have to go back to Flensburg soon. The city is absolutely worth seeing.

Since we weren't allowed into the Loki Schmidt garden, we just go through Planten un Blomen.
      This spring freshness is wonderful!
You can't get enough of it.
This park is a dream in every season!

Today we are in Hamburg again. From the Altona train station we walk towards the Elbe.
The Christian Church is open and we can visit it. We are very happy about that.
Then we go along the Elbe in the direction of Klein Flottbek. Sometimes up on the Elbe Höhenweg, sometimes down on the beach.
At a kiosk we can't resist and we're already sitting on the beach with a matjes roll and an astra, priceless moments.
In Jenisch Park we almost get dizzy, this vastness ... in light green ... a dream.
We actually wanted to go to the Loki Schmidt garden, but you can only get in there with registration and a corona test.
So we take the train to Planten and Blomen.
      But this is another story.

Today we went on a great dike hike. When the weather is nice, we go from Brockdorf to St. Margareten and back again.Pastures, sheep, big pots, farms and warm wind make the hike pleasant for us.When you walk on the dike
you are then almost alone, no speeding racing bikes or e-bikers who ride in twos or even threes side by side and ring the bell, the pedestrians may jump aside 😅
From the dike, we could also watch a farmer bringing two mother cows with their calves onto a beautiful green meadow. They looked really happy. ❤ Well, it's Mother's Day too ❤

In the Aukrug nature reserve we like to hike anyway and today with very nice and not so nice surprises. 🙂🙃As soon as we are on our way, we meet Karin, she is out on her bike as a couple. To finally get to know Karin for real was really great. We were so happy. 🥰Deer run across our path again, we are also allowed to observe other animals such as rabbits, geese, swans, ospreys, Icelandic ponies and a few more. 🤩The fords were easy to negotiate today. Weather was also everything sun, rain and hailSuddenly there was no further going beyond the fishing ponds. Somehow we were suddenly enclosed by electric fences that irritated us a bit 😱In the end we can say, 'That was another nice hike in the Aukruger nature reserve' 😍🥰

Today it should be about the Hallig. So it started after breakfast. We found so much plastic garbage that we just had to take it with us. We didn't think that it would be full of three big bags. But there is nobody else here.In the most beautiful sunshine we enjoy nature and solitude.

We started from Bünzen. Correct Aukrug nature reserve. The small Dat Ole Hus museum seems quite interesting to me. It is currently closed due to Corona. We pass many fish ponds ....... some without water, but most of them well filled.Spring is breaking out everywhere, it's getting colorful and the birds are chirping.
The forest is exciting and varied.
There is a lot to see, smell and hear along the way.
The paths are all good to go now.
That was the first of several hikes in the Aukrug nature reserve over the next few weeks.

On the spur of the moment, let's take a quick spin. 🤣
Nordoe always works. Color is slowly coming into the vegetation.
There are many beautiful paths with lots of information and picnic areas.
