Wo einst Häuser standen, und Menschen lebten, findet sich heute einer der größten Stauseen Europas. Doch nun liege die Fundamente und Reste der Dörfer Asel, Alt-Bringhausen, Dorfstelle Berich, Hopfenberg und Stollmühle und Bringhäuser Brücke frei.
