The Pfeffersack (Pepper Sack) is a listed building.
The building is used as a restaurant. It is located on the east side of the old market square at the junction with Lehmstraße.
Construction of the building began in 1431 and was completed in 1434. In 1940, the building was nationalized by the Soviet occupation.
Distinctive features of the building are the loading hatches and a loading boom in the facade. The building was registered as a historic monument in 1997 and entered in the Estonian Register of Historic Monuments under number 3097.
