Beautiful hot 25c+ day for walking the stunning 24km to Talybont village and back along the canal. The national park looking its best in the summer under a blue sky day...simply superb!

I love this walk. It is a stunning walk on a summer day like today. Starting in Brecon and walking to Talybont On Usk and then coming all the way back. I love my mountains but for a different pulse levelling amble there is no better walk than this. Great views of the Brecon Beacons and watching the daily…

A walk from the high pass above Bogota down to the mirador. Passing a few strange bikes on the way!

      Three Museums day

Well today was a visit to three museums in close proximity to each other in Bogota. The military museum, the police museum and Botero Art museum. This is a collective entry as they are all about the same excellent standard, have the same amenities, all are free and all have the same…

A bit of a walk around Timiza Park in Bogota close to where I'm staying. Awesome park, very modern with lots of amenities. Didn't start my garmin until I was half way through the walk though.

A beautiful little modern tourist village that was only built in 1996. Has a vintage feel to it and it is quite stunning. Lovely eating places, cafes and when I visited it was not busy at all (Friday). 6,000 peso or Β£1.50 entry fee with ramps for wheelchairs.

A tour of the brilliant Gold Museum in Bogota. Absolutely world class place, very modern and obviously full of gold. All pre hispanic exhibits and many were extremely intricate. More than 4,000+ exhibits all told. A great afternoon and hugely interesting.
