The Tallinn Cathedral (Estonian Tallinna toomkirik) is one of the landmarks of the Estonian capital. It is located on the Domberg in Tallinn. The Tallinn Cathedral is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Originally the church was a Roman Catholic cathedral. With the completion of the Reformation in Estonia in 1561, she became the Lutheran cathedral. It is today the episcopal church of the Archbishop of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church.Source: Wikipedia

The cathedral is located in the middle of the government district. The condition could be a bit better for that.

As already mentioned, the building is not in good condition. This also applies to the interior. Whether Roman Catholic or Lutheran, the churches are very often dark and gloomy. One could almost think that it looks threatening. In comparison, the interior of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral of the Christian Orthodox Church is bright and friendly.
