Where the "Stairway to Heaven" leads up the steep slope from the Rabenau Valley, a picturesque group of rocks rises, bisected by the railway line. A solitary hut once stood here, where a hermit lived for many years. After his death, the hermitage fell into ruin, and today one searches in vain for any trace of a dwelling.
